Membership offers an excellent opportunity to expand and exchange technical information through an active educational program.
Returning member dues are currently $20 for the year and may be brought to the first meeting you attend in the new year. The dues cover the costs of the meals for the guest speaker(s) and contribute toward the projection and sound system. When money is available, the WTS looks for suitable ways to share it to support others on a technical basis - for example with First Lego and First Robotics leagues.
Membership can be paid in cash or by check, made out to "Waterloo Technical Society".
Attendees cover the cost of their own meal, which we collect in cash on arrival. The meal cost has been stable at $22 since April 2024.
