Description: Founded in 1975 by Saul Herscovici and several members of the Warren family, Power Engineering & Manufacturing, Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company that specializes in the custom design and manufacturing of heavy-duty gearboxes. The gearboxes are operating throughout the U.S. and in more than 48 countries around the world and have proven themselves in a variety of industries and challenges.
They tailor their product and service solutions to the specific needs of their customers while providing first-class support for the most reliable and robust products in the industry. Their advanced engineering enables them to reach the greatest power density in gearbox designs while their experience in the various industries they support provide a solution-based offering to all customers.
The design department is staffed with mechanical engineers, design engineers, and CAD technicians. A large percentage of machining operations are completed by CNC machines with the latest software.
They pride themselves on retaining highly skilled machinists who are continuously trained in the latest techniques. They have been designing custom gearboxes for over 40 years and are well-versed in adverse applications. From helicopter test stands to steel levelers, in any environment imaginable, their solutions work.
All gearboxes have the option of using trademarked gear tooth design called MEGAGEAR®. The MEGAGEAR® allows for up to 35% more torque than a gear of the same diameter with a typical tooth design. They can even retrofit MEGAGEARS® into existing box by another manufacturer.
Power Engineering and Manufacturing is committed to working diligently to meet or exceed the requirements of their customers. They provide custom engineering solutions for the businesses that drive the U.S. economy. In addition to the custom design and manufacture of gearboxes, they also offer a variety of consultation services.
