Tandem Insulin Pump
Icons on the pump screen indicate when insulin dosing is increasing, decreasing, or being stopped by
the system. A small, wearable sensor and transmitter sends your glucose numbers to a smart device or
receiver every 5 minutes. It's easy to wear and easy to use
Automatic Insulin Adjustments. Control-IQ technology automatically adjusts insulin levels based on continuous glucose monitoring readings.
Automatic Correction Boluses. It can also deliver automatic correction boluses (up to one an hour) to help prevent hyperglycemia.
Activity Settings. Includes optional settings for Sleep Activity or Exercise Activity that adjust the range of treatment values.
Zero Fingersticks. For calibration or mealtime dosing, when the t:slim X2 insulin pump is integrated with Dexcom G6 CGM.
The final product is removed from screens of various opening sizes for future planting.

Our Speakers
Kaj Sinclair graduated from the University of Iowa in 1986 and started in medical sales in 1988. He
started selling insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring with Medtronic MiniMed in
2002. Kaj also worked for Roche Diabetes afterwards and Tandem Diabetes in 2016.
Brigitte Weymiller graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Viterbo University. She has been a Certified diabetes care and education specialist the last 20 years, starting at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and then spending the last 16 years at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI. In January 2022, Brigitte transitioned from clinical practice to medical device sales as the Tandem Territory Manager for Eastern Iowa/Quad Cities.

You are welcome to make a reservation for dinner or just come to the presentation. A program-only reservation is appreciated for a head count.
