Topic: DISTek Integration - Embedded Software Services
Speaker: Mr. Nick Elliott
Nick Elliott from DISTek Integration, Inc. will give us an overview of DISTek and talk about some examples of the types of embedded software projects they work on.
Nick is the Business Development Manager for DISTek Integration Inc. He is a University of Northern Iowa graduate with a Business Management degree and is actively involved with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He currently chairs the Computer and Automated Systems Association of SME (CASA), is a member of the Technology Association of Iowa and is actively involved in the Cedar Valley Chamber and FIRST Robotics and FIRST Lego League.
When not submerged in the world of technology, he is busy with taxes as owner of Liberty Tax Service in Waterloo.
DISTek Integration, Inc., founded in 1992, is an embedded software services provider specializing in off-highway vehicle systems. DISTek specializes in providing full software development services from design concept to system integration and test. DISTek has over 90 employees, the majority of whom are Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineers. DISTek is employee owned, is headquartered in Carthage, IL, and has its main operations office located in Cedar Falls IA.
DISTek engineers have proven experience creating and implementing model-based software development (MBSD) solutions for a wide variety of off-highway vehicle applications.
