Cedar Falls “Clarion Inn” Against the Grain Restaurant

(Formerly called the Holiday Inn)

Presentation by the Waverly Robotics Team

Topic: The Wave Droids “FIRST” Tech Challenge team consisting of students from Waverly will bring their Robot and give a PowerPoint presentation about its technical aspects. They recently returned from Super Regionals.

Speakers: Students From Waverly, Iowa including:

    • Caleb Hunt (freshman)

    • Sam Potter (junior)

    • Amon McAllister (junior)

    • Adam Everhardt (sophomore)

    • Caden Otis (freshman)

    • Alex Haaland (junior)

    • Spencer Lockey (sophomore)

Coaches are Eric Haaland and Leslie Potter. Mentors are Ryan Otis, John Potter, Deb Sand, and Mark Sand.

Program Chair: Joshua Lockey

Meal: Plated Dinner: Pork Schnitzel, carmelized Brussel sprouts with bacon, mashed potatoes, chopped salad and blueberry turnovers.

Price: $20.00 per person (includes tax, tip & room rent)

The Clarion has requested that we collect cash for the meal and not checks. “Cash Please” ☺

Social period: 6:00 P.M.

Dinner: 6:30 P.M.

Location: “Against The Grain” Restaurant, Cedar Falls Clarion Inn 5826 University Ave., Cedar Falls 50613.

Please indicate if you are NOT having dinner with us when making a reservation. Please also provide the names of any guests so that nametags can be ready for them.

Please make reservations by noon, Monday 9 April 2018. Guests are always welcome.

Note: Checks to purchase meals from the Clarion Inn should be made out to “Clarion Inn.”
