The future of abrasive blast cleaning
Description: Learn about the use of sponge media to clean, abrade and profile surfaces for industry and historic preservation.
Sponge Jet is a leader in clean, dry, low dust, reusable abrasive blasting. By using sponge media, contractors can clean and abrade surfaces with minimal dust leading to greater operator visibility. Low rebound prevents collateral damage to nearby surfaces. Sponge media is safer and protects employee’s health. Recyclability on site reduces freight costs and minimizes waste disposal.
Speaker: Cliff Mohling graduated from Cedar Falls High School and the University of Northern Iowa with a background in science and chemistry. He entered the coating industry following college and for 13 years was involved in commercial and industrial coating sales with a major coating manufacturer. Following the coating sales career, he entered the small business arena as a painting and coating contractor and spent 23 years preparing estimates, project management and tasks associated with owning a medium sized contracting business that focused on commercial and industrial painting. Currently he is the Iowa regional manager for Sponge Jet developing new business, demonstrating blast systems and assisting contractors and owners in abrasive blasting surface preparation and cleaning.
