Cedar Falls “Clarion Inn” Against the Grain Restaurant

(Formerly called the Holiday Inn)

Large Air Seeding & Tillage Implements

Topic: Mr. Cody Wilkinson is a Tillage Specialist and is the Air Seeding Product Manager at John Deere and will be speaking about “Tractor use” with regards to large air seeding and tillage implements.

Some of the key presentation points are:

    • Defining customer needs

    • Understanding Seeding/Tillage tractor decision drivers for customers

    • Overview of current/future technologies in Small Grains/Tillage

    • Small grains acre comparison to row crop

Speaker: Mr. Cody Wilkinson has been working for John Deere since 2008. He worked for Pioneer Seed Company every summer from age 13-21 when he graduated from Illinois State University.

He started his John Deere career in Ottumwa, IA as a Marketing Rep for Forage Harvesters, then worked in DTAC; transferred to Wichita, KS as a Forage Harvester Specialist and then moved back to Davenport as the Air Seeding Product Manager working in Future Product Marketing.

Cody grew up outside the small town of Walnut, IL and now lives in Geneseo, IL. with his wife Jennifer and 2 boys (Garrett and Connor).

He is working on an MBA through the University of Iowa. He is also a shareholder for the Green Bay Packers and an avid Cubs fan.

Meal: Plated Dinner: Oven Roasted Pork Loin with Dijon cream sauce, vegetable medley, roasted potatoes, wedge salad and chef’s choice cobbler.

Price: $20.00 per person (includes tax, tip & room rent)

The Clarion has requested that we collect cash for the meal and not checks. “Cash Please” ☺

Please indicate if you are NOT having dinner with us when making a reservation. Please also provide the names of any guests so that nametags can be ready for them.
