Program: John Deere Transmissions Manufacturing Tour

Tour Guide: Thom Didelot - Operations Manager at John Deere Drive Train Division

Information: Thom Didelot has been intimately involved with the John Deere Westfield Avenue Site redevelopment activities and has a vast amount of information to share. John Deere manufactures manual, powershift and the recently introduced infinitely variable hydromechanical transmissions at the Westfield Avenue Site.

Agenda:

6:00 – 7:15 pm: Social time and dinner at cedar Falls Holiday Inn, Greenstreets Restaurant

7:30 pm: Arrive at John Deere Westfield Avenue Site (WAS). A1 Lobby.

Tour guide Don Melcher will check in guests and provide visitor passes.

Welcome - WAS Auditorium, JD Host Thom Didelot,

Manager Operations Drive Train

7:45 pm: Begin walking tour including: Heat Treatment and Buildings H, Z, & T10

9:00 pm: Tour concludes - group departs

Price: $11.00 per person (dinner)

Time: Social period: 6:00 P.M.

Dinner: 6:30 P.M. at Greenstreets Restaurant,

5826 University Ave., Cedar Falls
