Topic: 100 Years of Technology Changes
The 2013 – 2014 calendar year marks 100 years of meetings for the Waterloo Technical Society. We invite you to be a part of the WTS as we celebrate this milestone throughout the year!
Speaker: Mr. Steve Lang
As a way to help the WTS celebrate 100 years of existence, Steve will be talking about “A Comparison of Technologies” 1913 versus 2013 in Agriculture, Transportation and Communications Steve Lang recently retired from John Deere after working 34 years at the Product Engineering Center in Cedar Falls. During that time Steve worked on designing tractor dashboard instruments and more recently, wireless machine communication systems. Steve received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa.

A photographer/reporter from the Waterloo Courier will be attending this meeting as part of a story they are doing about the Waterloo Tech Society’s 100 years of meetings so we are looking forward to a good turnout of members and friends at this meeting. There will also be some memorability of past meetings on display. We will have a birthday cake to help us celebrate 100 years as a club J JJ
