Cedar Falls “Clarion Inn” Against the Grain Restaurant

Liquefied Natural Gas
Topic: Mark Albright and Tom Pfiffner will present information on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
Mark will present information about the LNG industry, the various processes used to liquefy and re-gassify natural gas, store and transport it as a liquid, describe facilities involved, and identify the reasons for turning it into a liquid in the first place.
Tom will share more detailed information about Midamerican's LNG plant in Waterloo. Midamerican has similar LNG plants in Des Moines and Bettendorf. Northern Natural Gas has one near Garner Iowa.
I think you will enjoy this presentation on a topic that affects so many products that we use everyday.
