Cedar Falls “Clarion Inn” Against the Grain Restaurant
(Formerly called the Holiday Inn)
"FIRST" Robotics Team Presentation (East & West High Schools)
Topic: Representatives of the “FIRST” Robotics Team from East & West Waterloo Schools will present their accomplishments from their 2016 Rookie Year. This team was formed to actively promote STEM.
They will be bringing “Brutus” their 2016 Robot which has a unique All Wheel drive system, a Novel Boulder pick-up device & exciting Defensive Mechanism !!
Speakers: Six (6) students are scheduled to make this presentation. Robotics Team 5837 was formed in fall 2015. The team’s name is “Unity4Tech” and their motto is “Together in Promoting Success” (TiPS) and is made up of 20+ students. This team symbolizes youth from the Cedar Valley coming together to learn about STEM. The team won the Rookie “All Star” award and their mentor, Mr. Richard Hurban was named a “Woodie Flowers” Finalist.

Meal: Plated Dinner: Italian Stuffed Chicken Breast with a Basil cream sauce.
Price: $18.00 per person (includes tax, tip & room rent)
The Clarion has requested that we collect cash for the meal and not checks. “Cash Please” ☺

Please indicate if you are NOT having dinner with us when making a reservation. Please also provide the names of any guests so that nametags can be ready for them.
