Cedar Falls “Clarion Inn” Against the Grain Restaurant

Topic: Mr. Neal Muzzy, Director of The Cedar Valley Makers, (CVM) will be speaking about his prosthetic arm project. Five entrepreneurs have put together a nonprofit organization to create what could be a crucible for new product development in the Cedar Valley. CVM proposes to pull together a metal shop, wood shop, electronics lab and 3-D printers in about 5,000 square feet of space on the third floor of the Cedar Valley TechWorks building in Waterloo. "You pay a monthly membership, and then you have access to all this equipment”.

Speaker: Neal Muzzy is a mechanical designer working at Schoitz Engineering in Waterloo. He has an AAS degree in CNC Machining and in Tool & Die Making from Hawkeye Comm. College. He has been an active member of The Cedar Valley Makers since late 2013.

Meal: Plated Dinner, Italian Stuffed Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce.

Price: $18.00 per person (includes tax, tip & room rent)

Location: “Against The Grain” Restaurant, Cedar Falls Clarion Inn 5826 University Ave., Cedar Falls 50613.

Please indicate if you are NOT having dinner with us when making a reservation. Please also provide the names of any guests so that nametags can be ready for them.
