The new e23 Power Shift Transmission combines
the benefits of a mechanical transmission with the ease of an IVT. The 7R is a champion in the field delivering
uncompromised performance while meeting Final Tier 4 (FT4) emission
requirements.

Randy Russ is a Supervisor of Product
Engineering leading the 7R Chassis FT4 group at the John Deere Product
Engineering Center. He has been with
John Deere for 13 years. He grew up on a
crop and livestock farm in Southwest Missouri and attended Oklahoma State
University graduating with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his time at John Deere he has held
jobs in testing & design in both the Operator Station and Chassis groups.
