Fuel Cells...Engine of Change!

Speaker:Carl T. Vuk - Fuel Cell Technology Expert, John Deere Power Systems (Waterloo, IA)

Program:Fuel cell technology offers promise as a future energy source, as it can produce power without being dependent on limited petroleum resources in the world. There has been much research done by the automotive industry in North America. For the past few years John Deere has been researching fuel cells as a potential power source. The basic energy conversion technology will be discussed, as well as the commercial considerations. Practical application potential will be presented. We invite you to attend this interesting program.

Carl Vuk has both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He has been employed at John Deere for the past 24 years in Engine Engineering at the Product Engineering Center. He has been working on fuel cell technology for the past two years.
