Program:In past years the Technical Society sponsored a technical student night with a good turnout from the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area. In the recent past the Iowa Engineering Society Chapter has sponsored an engineering student night with the University of Iowa and Iowa State University Colleges of Engineering providing information for prospective students and parents.

With greater options and opportunities for students now, the Engineering Society and the Tech Society have promoted the Joint meeting and have the counselors in Area 7 and Oelwein invite students interested to come with their parents. With the cost of a degree in the $40K range parents are welcome. With co-op opportunities expanding, members will find it interesting also.

Price:$10.00 per person. Students sponsored by WTS and IES members through the Hawkeye CC Foundation Student Night Fund. One counselor per school will be sponsored also. Chef Lisa at HCC will provide a punch bowl and the Prime Rib Buffet.

Reservations:Please telephone earlier by Tuesday October 31st to Ken Allbaugh at (319) 291-8187 for all reservations.
